Rule 8. Limitation on Filing Petition for 
Removal from Office or for Compulsory Retirement.
          
The Clerk shall not accept for filing any petition for removal from office or for compulsory retirement from office against a judicial officer in the ninety (90) days immediately preceding a primary or general election in which that judicial officer may be or is a candidate for election to any judicial office.
