A. A sanctioning permit issued by the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission
shall be required in order to conduct, sponsor, hold, or participate in
professional combative sports events or amateur mixed martial arts events.
B. No sanctioning permit shall be issued for conducting or holding any
professional combative sports event or amateur mixed martial arts event within
any political subdivision of this state where a local ordinance or resolution
prohibits such contests or exhibitions within the limits of the political
subdivision.
