Rule 17. Notice of Motions, Demurrers, Etc., to Presiding Judge; Docketing; Time for Hearing.

The Clerk of the Court will immediately notify the presiding judge of the pendency of motions, demurrers or other matters before the Court that need to be disposed of, and shall upon order of the presiding judge docket the same for disposition upon the day and at the time ordered by the presiding judge.

The order of the presiding judge shall set said motions, demurrers or other matters before the Court, for hearing at least ten (10) days from the date thereof and said order shall be filed with the Clerk who shall more than ten (10) days prior to the date of hearing transmit a copy thereof to the parties or their attorneys of record in the manner provided in Rule No. 16.

All motions, demurrers, and other matters to be disposed of prior to the hearing of the case on its merits, except the hearing of the pre-trial, will be heard and disposed of by the Court.
